Taipei, December 28, 2021 —FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one ofthe world’s largest express transportation companies, has jointlyinitiated a road safety education campaign with World PeaceAssociation (WPA). Through this campaign, FedEx is bringing roadsafety awareness to children to help build a safer society for thenext generation.

In 1999, FedEx started working onkeeping kids safe from preventable road injuries on a global leveland engaged over 5,000 Asia-Pacific team members for assistance.FedEx team members supported road-safety related events andactivities that reached more than 7.6 million kids from more than15,000 schools in the region.

This year in Taiwan, FedEx joinshands with WPA for the first time to organize a series ofactivities. This includes reading picture books and interactiveactivities to educate children on traffic signs and rules. Keepingsafety in mind during the pandemic, activities are designed in acombination of physical and virtual events. FedEx volunteers caninteract with children through video calls and e-learning toolswhenever possible.

The campaign series includesthree workshops in Dacheng Elementary School in New Taipei City,Waishe Elementary School in Taoyuan City and Shuimei ElementarySchool in Taoyuan City from October to December 2021. In total, 80elementary school students have benefited from thecampaign.
